Rob Curry is the co-founder and the actual brains behind EmergentEdge — and in our latest video, he finally pulled back the curtain on the engine we’ve been building.

I’ll be straight with you: the first time I saw what Rob put together, my jaw was on the floor. This is the kind of infrastructure that normally lives locked inside a hedge fund. It started as a side project — we just wanted a better way to test our own ideas, because the results we got on the commercial platforms never held up in live trading. It grew into something else entirely.

No script. No sales pitch. Just Rob and me walking through how it actually works — and why almost every back-tester you’ve ever used has been lying to you.

Here’s a taste of what we got into:

🕯️ The phantom win. Rob shows how the exact same candle can be built two completely different ways — and why that one detail lets your backtester swear you banked a winner on a trade that actually stopped you out. It took him two weeks to prove it to me. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

📉 The decay nobody admits. Why the indicator setups your mentor swore by in the 80s and 90s may be dead today — and the academic work that ran thousands of technical rules across dozens of markets to find out where the edge really went.

🧮 Thinking like an institution. This was my seal-of-approval moment — the point where I knew Rob was operating on a different planet. He breaks down how we model the market in probabilities and states instead of lines on a chart, and what the engine reads about the regime we’re in right now.

⚙️ The five pillars. One engine — raw CME tick data in, validated strategies out — and two completely different ways to put it to work. Nothing reaches live execution without earning it.

🎯 The numbers that make people go “wait, what?” A terabyte of raw tick data. A million Monte Carlo simulations per strategy before it ships. Specs hedge funds have had for decades and the retail guru down the street has never touched.

I’m not giving away the whole playbook here. That’s what the webinar is for.

Rob and I are going live, in depth, on the back tester and the exact strategy that’s for sale — and we’re answering every single question you’ve got in real time.
