I track SPX and ES daily. The divergences is next to none lately other than the convergence of prices as ES futures get closer to expiration. For me MSOS is its own animal given the sector and it's relationship to the indices them selves.
I'm not sure if the 80% rule works there or not to be honest. I've traded it on ES and SPX for 10 years and I know it works on other indices such as NQ and RTY but outside of that I'm honestly not sure sorry.
